I need to know if I'm prepared. Do i still need to pass the HESI admission exam? I need advise please...

how long were you guys on the waiting list before you got accepted? I am still finishing my pre reqs and will be applying in the spring and i would really appreciate some guidance! thanks!

I applied in June of 2010 and got in for Spring 2012. I actually should have gotten in Fall 2011 because I originally applied in February of 2010 but they screwed up my transcripts which delayed my application. On the positive side I was able to finish all of my coreq's as I waited. So my wait time was 3 semesters.

It's not necessarily a waiting list because they give you a seat right away. It's more like waiting for your start date. They told me that my start date was Fall of 2013 but about 4 months later they gave me the option to start 5 semesters early.

Make sure you have your finger print card & cpr card (with a copy, front and back of both), and a photo id ready to be handed in. Make sure you have the right cpr card, they informed us that 4 or so students were turned away...

Hello!

I was recently accepted to the nursing program (yay!). I already have my coreqs done (as I am transferring from another program), and I was curious on what I should do during my three year wait (yikes!) to be fully prepared to start the program. Also, do they inform you via email when to obtain your CPR and finger print card, and through which program/method do they prefer?

Thanks ahead of time for your help!

Hello,

How are you doing so far in the program? I am starting in Aug. my orientation is April 20. I am trying to refresh everything from A&P, worried about the HESI. Are you enjoying the program? Do you find it difficult? Are you spending tons of time studying?

Hope you are enjoying the program.

My orientation at PCC is also April 20th. I got a study guide for the hesi at the west campus library. I have been tryin to go over it all a little at a time every day, since it's been so long since I took all of those courses. Anyhow, I am excited and nervous. Good luck to you.

its a good program and --------------- has been extremely helpful to me during my entire process :).
