after 2 years of debating, maybe even 3 years, i decided to sign up with chamberlain. i am actually doing the rn-bsn-msn program that i think is pretty new. since the msn program was accredited last year, i thought why not. my awesome adviser, liz, did tell me a 3.0 was required throughout my bsn courses..is this possible? i am a stay at home mom of 5, so i have a flexible schedule and can carve out lots of study time. i am confused about the financial aid and stafford loan i was awarded...since their classes are 8 weeks, do we get awarded every 8 weeks? if not, it will not cover the full 12 hours i plan to take every 16 weeks :-( i am very excited and very nervous!!!!!!!

They usually disburse the financial aid by semester. Be sure you understand the loans -- call the financial advisors at Chamberlain, they can explain everything. They're awesome!

It is absolutely possible to maintain a 3.0 or much higher even! Just stay on top of your readings and assignments. Make sure you give thoughtful and substantive posts to the discussion board questions and you will do fine! Good luck! I'm a Chamberlain grad now completing my second semester in an MSN program and felt very prepared for graduate school.

Hi! Wondering how it is going for you, I am debating starting at Chamberlain in July and I am a SAHM of two very young kiddos. I also want to do the RN-BSN-MSN program! Let me know, I'd sure appreciate it!

I'm going to be following this thread. I am looking into this school for my BSN or MSN once I graduate and get my RN sometime at the end of this year beginning of next year.
