Hey all,
I got an assignment in San antonio texas and have decided to ship my car instead of drive. I drove to San Antonio last year for the same assignment and I just can't bear to do it again. Does anyone know of any good trustworthy companies, prices, or good tips on how to go about doing this? I've looked up some companies but I worry about handing my keys over to complete strangers. Most range around $700 but I'm sure there are hidden fees somewhere. Please help. Thanks
Awesome!! Please do let me know. What company did you choose?
Update: I do NOT recommend Cascade. You'll see many positive reviews the car transport review webpage, but honestly I had the WORST experience with them and ultimately needed to switch companies. If you have further questions on the matter let me know. I'd rather not rant and rave randomly on here. But if you do need advice, I'd love to help. Thanks!
Do you know trucking companies will ferry your car for a lot less money and they are reliable. Rather than go accross country empty or half empty they use the space to move cars and house hold stuff accross country at a lot less than normal removal companies
We moved our whole house from phx to ohio for less than $2000 we had a quote for our car which came in around $300

Wow thanks so much! I was told to not sedate your cat on the plane for breathing precautions? Not true? I was given a sedative just in case so I'm thinkin I will probably use it to ease her down. I hope she don't run off on me when I take her thru security. oh gosh.
Sorry to hear about your car. Im not leaving til Oct 18 so if I book now Im hoping I won't have the same problem as you. When I read thru the reviews online, your complaint seemed to be the same all around for various companies. But like you said, Cascade seemed to have good reviews and hardly any complaints. Would you use this company again?
