Anyone recently go through internship/residency/fellowship in Dallas?

I am graduating in December and I am curious when hospitals open up the application process for internships that start in January here in Dallas?

Anyone applied for or went through an internship at Parkland or Methodist? In the application process do you need letters of recommendation?

Any tips on applying/scoring an interview?

The best way to score an interview is to be referred by someone who works there (wherever " there" may be). Letters of recommendation generally don't hurt but also generally don't help, unless they are from someone within the organization.

Internship postings for January start dates typically open up around October. A few are sooner, many are later.

Best of luck. The new grad job market in DFW is tight. Networking is the best way to get noticed.
