Anyone recently apply for endorsment in GA?

How long exactly did it take? Anyone done this recently? This is killing me! I was told 15 days when I called initially and now they are telling me 15 to process the app, then 25 more to review it. If they really take this long, I will lose the job I REALLY want. Anyone successful at getting a temp permit to practice? Advice please! If anyone can offer any help on how to make this go quicker or expedite the process, I would really appreciate it! They have had my paperwork since early last week and still nothing!

It took my longer : ( My old employer messed up my paperwork which held up the process even more.

I've heard anywhere from like 3 months to 6 months ... that's a VERY long time.

I applied for my GA License by Endorsement June 23rd. I received my license July 28. However, I submitted my complete application with every single requirement on June 23rd and had my fingerprinting completed in GA June 28. I had to call repeatedly. (the squeaky wheel gets the oil). I sent my employer the forms that needed to be completed and had them send it back to me in a sealed envelope inside of a postage paid envelope I provided. I also included my official transcripts in sealed envelopes in my original packet, etc...when I say I had every single thing in my packet they requested, I mean I had every single thing. Good luck! I felt it took forever, but oh well. From what I hear 5 weeks is super fast.
