anyone who passed the vermont nclex?

Published

Hi all,

My friend just passed the vermont nclex, she has been asking a lot of friends about reciprocity. I even asked Suzanne about this and she gave a very clear answer on it. But because of too many opinions from other nurses, confusion arose. They said that not all states has reciprocity to vermont, can please enlighten us on this. Thank you

My original license is from Vermont BON.

I am now working in Florida and didn't have problems with the endorsement process.

omg, now this is quite helpful indeed!

Specializes in ER (future assignment).
If she already passed the NCLEX exam then she can apply for endorsement to other state BONs. She has to meet the endorsement req'ts for the state she plans to endorse to. If it says it still needs the CVS (NY) or CES or complete the DOJ and FBI fingerprint cards then she needs to accomplish those too to meet the endorsement req'ts of that state BON. It differs from state BON to state BON. Better check the website of the particular state BON she plans to endorse too.

I know for a fact that a foreign grad RN endorsing to CA BRN from another state usually takes 2-3 mos. (as their licensing unit replied to me re: that query) because they will wait for the DOJ and FBI cards first and as well as review your TORs.

Goodluck. Hope I was able to help. ;)

hello Lawrence... what if i took the vermont nclex and then i decided to have my lisence endorsed to CA.... but previous to that, i have alpplied also to CA (nlcex application also approved), which means i have passed also FBI and DOJ fingerprinting... will it still take another 2-3 months? do i need to send another set of fingerprint card?
