Anyone been to Omaha Childrens?

Hi everyone! I'm about to start my first gig in the travel world! I'm quite nervous! EEK. Anyways, Omaha, NE gave me an offer at their children's hospital. Has anyone been there? How do you like it?

I did a clinical rotation during school at Omaha Children's, and think it would be a great place to work if you are in the peds world. I think the hospital is Magnet, but if not you would not know it because it operates just like a hospital who is. The facility is nice & fairly new, has a very good culture (at least from my experience as a student), and centered in town which is easy access to all parts of the city. Omaha doesn't really have much traffic though, and has a great hwy/freeway network

As far as Omaha goes I am originally from SoCal, so not a huge fan of the Midwest in General, but I really liked Omaha. For a city of it's size there is a lot to do, it has a ton of character, decent nightlife (the Old Market is awesome), and very cheap. I think it would make a great travel location if the money was right for you! Only real downside is this winter has been brutal, so you need to be ready for negative temps and snow.
