Anyone have the new "Core Curriculum for Oncology Nursing"?

Well I'm going to be new to Oncology Nursing and am starting my position in 2 days....it will be in a Medical Day Care Unit in the Chemotherapy Administration area. I wrote before that I have been a nurse for over 20 years in many different areas but this will be a new and exciting experience for me. I'm really looking forward to it. Anyway I ordered this book today...the latest addition was just released this year. Hopefully it'll be very helpful and worth the investment. Any one already own this copy? If so what do you think of it? Thanks.

I have an earlier edition of the same book. I will soon purchase the newer edition. I think that it is a great book. You would also use this book to study for oncology nursing certification.

I've been an OCN for 12 years - have the old Core book and just got the new one too - it's what I use to study and as a reference - buy it!

I agree - it is a great book. It's the one book I used to study for the OCN exam and passed on the first try.
