Anyone as nervous as i am!?

hi. Im a newbe. And i been wanting to do nursing since HS. and finally going to do it. but im so so NERVOUS! im scared i wont do as well as im hoping.. im sure this is normal..but does anyone else feel this way also? I hope im not alone!!:uhoh21:

Also do u know what kind of nurse you want to be?

Im pretty sure i want to be a NICU nurse. Such amazing/rewarding type a job I feel.:wink2:

Oh on a side note... These test make me nervous.. espically seein a big thread about failling! =\

You have to be positive. For me, failing is not an option. Start telling yourself that you will do it, and you will be able to do it. I always find that when I thinking negatively about myself things don't go well for me...as far as what field I'm interested in, hmmm..ICU, ER, home health, hospice that I can name off the top of my head..but I haven't started clinicals yet so my interests may change...would love to work in the NICU, that I know for sure

I just keep telling myself i can do it. But there are times..like today where i get so nervous. its basically i get nervous over these entry tests and getting in. Ectect. i guess i just will have to study hard core.
