Can you tell me what EC is.......Thanks!
It's a distance learning program for those of use who are already LPNs or paramedics, RTs as well. You have to have some form of clinical experience before you enroll. I have just started, it's virtually impossible for me to go back to school and sit in a class, and I don't plan on leaving my VNA once I have graduated so it's the right choice for me. My employer is very supportive of it as well.:redbeathe
Sorry for the delay in getting back to this thread, been working lots. I loved EC. I had a bachelor's in another field which covered my humanities requirements and took A+P 1&2, Chemistry and Micro all with labs at Quincy College. I was an LPN for 2+ years in LTC/sub-acute care and considered that as my "clinicals" that I actually got paid for. You
have to get yourself organized to study for the exams, they are covering the same content that brick and mortar schools do. The CPNE was stressful but doable. Go for it.
