Hi everyone,
Recently been accepted to the PCC (Pasadena) LVN to RN program and was hoping to see if anyone has any input on how the program is. I heard there is a high percentage of fail/drop rates in the PCC LVN to RN (career ladder) program.
If anyone has been to GCC (Glendale) LVN to RN program, i would really like to hear your input on the program too!
Thank you in advance.

Hi I also applied to PCC LVN-RN program . I haven't heard back . Can you please tell me how you were informed. E-mail or mail? I know that PCC is ATI heavy they use ATI for exams not traditional book scantron exams. Also former students told me that the 3rd semester is the most challenging . Both PCC and GCC are good schools. I've actually attended both schools for prereqs.
I was informed through email if i wanted to accept the offer than they gave another deadline to submit those "intent forms" . This week they will be sending the acceptance packet to our emails.
You might want to call in to check on your status just to be sure.

Hello! I was also accepted into the lvn-adn program and have sent in my intent forms. Have you received your acceptance packet? I was expecting it by Thursday or Today but have not received it
Hi ! Nice to meet you ! We'll be future classmates soon . Hopefully other lvn-adn accepted students comments on this so eventually we'll all know each other...somewhat.

I also applied to the LVN to ADN program and haven't gotten an email. I'm a little worried that I didn't get in. For the people that got in, how many points did you guys have when you applied?
I probably had around mid-high 70s . You can always call to make sure
Anyone received their packets yet through email?
I had 85 points and they let me know right away. About within a week. Not sure why so fast. In most forums it was a month to 6 weeks.
And no I haven't received my packet yet. Should we call?
TBH i dont even know how much points i scored. But yes they did reply pretty quick considering the time frame given from previous years
I emailed them just to be sure that they know i am following up .
Thanks for replying guys.
I sent them an email and they said all approved applications have been processed. They are still sending out rejection and alternate emails.
The application that I used was the updated application where you add all your points. I had 80 points total. I'm taking Nutrition right now so I guess I can try again next application period and I'll have 85 points when I apply.
I'm still waiting for GCC. They said they'll let us know by mid November.
