anyone knows prevailing wage for e3 visa?

Published

hi,everyone,I want to apply for a e3 visa, the manager from the clinic is saying she can fill out LCA form for me as long as i tell her the prevailing wage.I was wondering to get a e3 visa, the jobs i applied need entry level equal or more than bachelor.so I cant just do normal RN job and getting 31 per hour and entry level nurse....(level 2 nurse is around 35 dollars per hour, and level 3 is 40)

so how much should I ask for at least?and i ve got 3 years experience.and going to be the in charge of other 3 technician. However, they wont put me on that title cs the level of the supervisory positon is level 3 and need around 40 dollars per hour...and I need that title to get e3 visa even not for money...

they didnt put that supervisory title for other 2 nurses who applied h1b,then they got denied bcs of that,I dont want this happen to myshelf since the job requirement is similar....

The prevailing rate/wage/salary is the "market" rate for a nurse in the same position. It is not something you or her can decide but what the "market" is paying for a nurse of your experience/background, In other words, "industry standard".

You do not need to have a fancy title for the E-3. You are a nurse with a university education from Australia - that's enough!

Do not think poster holds Australian degree..

i have bachelor of nursing from Australia, which is not enough....

What I ve found from previous post regarding e3 is:only a registered nurse is not qualified as applicant for e3,we need a supervisory title....to make the entry level of RN job to bachelor degree instead of usa 2 years certificate....

Are you looking at the US to work? My understanding is prevailing wages is the wage for that state/area and they should know the current wage

(if you are looking at the US then this needs to be in the International forum)

yes,u a right.its about work in us..since I thought its more about using e3 visa(usa citizen they wouldn't have a clue),so I put it in au forum....

unfortunately, despite my 3 years working experence, they a still going to put me into entry level (level 1)since the pay is lower...

even i need to work with other technician and give all the meds in the clinics and work as an in charge....

:banghead:

i think no chance to get e3 by doing entry level nursing(and to be honest its not, i need to take responsibilty for other tecs),any usa 2 year certificaton nurse can do it....
