I've seen a lot of of FNP programs that require a BSN or even a bachelors in a another field, but I'm looking for an online direct entry ADN to MSN (FNP). Anyone know of, or have any experience with such a program?
There are a lot of online programs but not having a bachelors can add quite a bit to the price tag. In my research, it could be more than 10,000 because they require additional classes at a graduate level cost. It was cheaper for me to do an online RN to BSN program. The additional classes can also add to the length of time. Also, most programs cost around 20,000 for a regular MSN but RN to MSN costs more. My current program is 30,000 but the length of the program is 3 years.
Also, a lot of programs require you to find your own clinical site. Even the brick and mortar school does not guarantee clinical placements.
