my wife with h-4 just took nclex in IL.

As long as you meet requirements however the issue may be converting to a work visa depending on what experience you have and what the job opportunities are where you live and that the hospital is willing to employ you

my wife is holding an h-4 visa so she doesn't have SSN. online application for IL you need to have SSN for loging in. So she used paper application. Try checking BON in your state.
