ANYONE know of a good tutor?

Published

Hi im new to this site was wondering if anyone knew of a good tutor in the Philadelphia area or surrounding areas? I failed the Nclex on my first attempt and now i am just trying to do as much as possible to get the job done! PLEASE let me know!

also i took kaplans program? would anyone recommend if i redo all the question trainers? i m just not sure how to get started?

Hey there from the philly area too....I failed my first attempt. I also did Kaplan. I've decided to reup Kaplan so I can use the Trainers and Qbank. I also have the LeCharity book and the new Saunders book....

My plan is I'm slowly reviewing the Kaplan book. I've started to take the Saunders chapter tests w/o reading the chapter first.....I've been told the chapters you get 75% on or above don't add to your review immediately...So, once I'm don the chapter test I plan to look at how much I need to review and then I plan to start reviewing and trying to answer 150 questions per day....

We can do this on the second try....:D

ugh thanks for the info! i feel so defeated! i read alot on this site about the LeCharity book .. looks like ill be going out today to get that! and by the kaplan boook? are you referring to the book they gave us when you enrolled in the program!

and yes we will succeed! :yeah: this time around!

Yes, I'm referring to the book you got from Kaplan. I would also pick up the Saunders NCLEX it has a CD....there are a lot of positive stuff about it also.

Go to a nearby nursing school and ask in the office or check out the bulletin boards. People often post ads.

Exactly what form of tutoring do you need? How to take tests, specific nursing or science help? I might be able to assist you if I knew more what your needs are.
