Anyone know of any good online lpn courses?

Published

I currently work full time and I can not seem to find a nursing course that would work with my schedule. I prefer to go to a technical school so that I dont have to go on a long waiting list and take tons of pre-reqs. However, the technical schools in NJ require you to attend M-th or Fri 7-3 or 8-4 which I can not do. I was looking into Lincoln Tech which offers evenings and weekends but its like triple the price... I recently started looking at the online option. I always felt that an lpn course was too hands on for this. And Im not sure if future employers will be ok with the fact that I attended online... anyone have any ideas about this? Thanks

There are no legitimate online LPN programs.

There is one and it's in Canada. You must attend set clinical dates and workshops to demonstrate skills each semester.

Ok. ;). There are no legitimate online only programs that do not include clinical time in person. The is one online LPN program in Oregon but you must live near the school as the clinical rotations are in person and in facilities near the school.

Before looking at an online LPN program, I would check with the state Board of Nursing. It would be a shame for you to spend money for a program and not be able to sit for your boards. I know here in AZ, online programs are not recognized by the BON.
