For the nursing skills of landmarking: ventrogluteal, dorsogluteal (especially), vastus lateralus, & deltoid muscles for injection, does anyone know, or can find, any good demonstration videos?

Just do what i do and close your eyes and pretend its pin the tail on the donkey!
JUST KIDDING
try this
Yea I already looked at that video, it doesn't talk about landmarking except for "the upper outer quadrant." That is not thorough enough. You're supposed to find the boney prominences like the greater trochanter & the edges of the iliac crest. That is the kind of landmarking video I need.

Weezy you are too funnie!
Katie, look at a picture of skeletons, one that is detailed with the names of the bones. I think this would help more than a video. Greater trochanter = the top of the femur at the hip. Iliac crest - that part of the pelvic bone that you might touch when you put your hands on your hips - your thumbs might touch the crest. Also, look at anatomical pics of the specific muscles your are mentioning. BTW, are you still in school?

yeah I totally need a video of some sort on this too, I am getting tested too soon. Not that I do not know where the regions are, but supposedly, you have to use technical skills to identify your landmarks.
