I live in the Nashville and know a few people who have graduated from their accelerated program. they have good things to say about it. :)
Everything I read about them has been good except for the five-year expiration on prereqs, which is a little ridiculous for those of us who have worked our way through college.
I shadowed a nurse for the day at Vanderbilt University hospital in Nashville, in one of their adult acute trauma units. The students from Belmont do their clinical rotations there (I talked to one of the student nurses while I was there). Very, very nice hospital, low patient:nurse ratios, and they were in the process of switching over to computerized charting.
Has anyone heard anything untoward about the accelerated BSN program at Belmont University in Nashville, TN? Any alumni here? Thanks!!! :balloons:
Hi, I am from Nashville and actually attended Belmont for a year. It is a great school, but a little out of my budget. The faculty and students are very friendly and you have a real hands on education.
