I live in Lawrence and I heard that Lawrence Memorial Hospital is doing a CNA training this coming Spring through a community college so you better sign up fast because this was announced to the entire KU Pre-Nursing Club which is pretty big. I didn't sign up because my advisor said there is no use to do it if I can just a get a job by taking some nursing courses through them.

Great thanks for your response. I know that by taking CNA classes free at the Nursing homes they want you to sign an agreement to work for them for a few years or else you have to pay them back for the classes. I didn't want to do that. I will check out the Hosp. Thanks again!

Dreams,
I live in Lawrence, but I took a CNA class in Topeka. There is a LTCF in Eudora that offers a CNA course. Also JCCC in Overland Park offers CNA courses at King's Cove Campus.
