Helloooo fellow students. 'hope that everyone is doing well.
My question is, if you have joined the National Student Nurses Association, has it been helpful or a waste of your scarce mon-ay $$$ ???
I am thinking of joining on the suggestion of one other student and would like to get some more opinions.
thanx! :)

I just recently joined so I've not been a member long enough to KNOW the benefits. However, I do know that a lot of the 2nd year students at my school joined last year and they all speak highly of the organization and what it means to them. they say it is well worth the $$.

I'm not a member, but heard great things from some of my classmates who are in it. I just don't want to put out that kind of money though.

Here's a link to a recent thread with mostly positive commentary about NSNA: https://allnurses.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74097&highlight=NSNA
You may want to ask some senior students at your school what their experience has been.

One of my teachers is giving extra credit for joining.
It may be a great organization, but like some others I don't really have the extra cash to put out... and I don't think extra credit should be based on something that costs money!!!
