Anyone interviewing at Westminster this year?

Published

Just thought we could make a thread if anyone wanted to discuss interviews or the program. I interview later this week.

I interview in November. Good luck! This is one of my top choices so I'm really looking forward to it. I haven't read or heard what the interview is like. Guess I need to research that a bit more lol.

Interview on Nov 2nd, top choice program as well. Good luck to all!

Why is it one of your guys tops choices? Are you from Utah?

Front loaded, diverse clinical locations, and location. I'm from Idaho, but have been in Utah to ski and climb so it seems like a good fit for me.

Monkey Man, did they extend an offer during the interview I know they will sometimes do that?

Yeah they did! I'm in! Super stoked on that. I had no idea that they do that. So it caught me off guard. So excited.

Good luck to everyone on their upcoming interviews and congrats Monkey Man for getting in right away! I have mine on the 26th. Would you mind sharing how the interview was structured and what questions they ask?

The interview was pretty relaxed. Few clinical questions. Nothing too crazy. And then they just got to know you. Wanted to make sure you knew what you were getting into and if you were ready. It was short and sweet. Just the way I wanted it to be.

That doesn't sound too bad! Thank you for the quick response. Definitely excited it's so short. Were the clinical questions related to the specific ICU you work in, or were they more general like ABG interpretation or a case scenario?

Pretty general and no ABG interpretation. I wouldn't stress the clinical questions at all. Super easy and basic.

Congrats! Thanks for the advice, slightly less nervous for my interview now...

Yeah no problem. Good luck. Let me know how it goes. I wonder how many people they accept on the spot verses call later and let them know.. maybe you'll get accepted on the spot too.
