hey crimson,
the college has great tutors, but i don't know if you can use them if you aren't in a math class. the net, though, i promise you, is easy, easy to pass (the math portion, anyway.) i know that one instructor, mary beth powell, does tutoring and she is a wonderful instructor! i am looking at getting her to tutor me for college algebra.
if you will look at this website, it will help immensely and it is just like the net test is.

there is just very basic math that is on the net. simple addition, subtraction, multiply and division. there is also ratios, percentages and very basic elementary algebra.

I live in Tyler and will be taking the NET within next few months. I have not had math in like 17 yrs. I am looking at a few sights ect. I would like to know anyone though who actually has used a math tutor in the area to brush up on the math/algebra.
Any leads is appreciated.
Thanks.
