Stupid question, but what is the psb entrance test? Is that like the NLN entrance exam that is usually given prior to acceptance to school?

here's a hit regarding verbal portions of entrance exams. Brush up on learning root words, suffixes & prefixes. That way even if you don't the word, you'll have an easier time trying to figure it out. Trust me...this works! I did awesome on the verbal part because of this.
Good luck! :)

I took the PSB-RN test back in Jan. I got a nursing review booking by Marion Gooding, i think it was the 16th edition, and i believe it was titled Nursing school and allied health entrance exams...i scored in the 90th percentile on all but one section for the test. The only section i didn't do that well on was the science which i go 81% on (not bad really but wished it was higher) there were some bio, and physics questions on there that i was just not prepared for. I really suggest the review book though, it helped me the most!
GOOD LUCK!
sprtbikegrl....sad thing is i also bought the book LOL......called myself studying ALOT in the book ...maybe i should go back and study the verbal ability AGAIN ....lol ,...thanks for the help anymore infor is always WELCOME .....:imbar
