I have had my stuff in for weeks and am still waiting for them to set up an interview. In the mean time, had an interview with TCU and got accepted there. Now I wonder if I even want to follow up. I have had so many problems with their front office not being organized. Not a great first impression on me.

I finally got a letter from TWU to set up an interview. I think I will decline to interview, b/c I got accepted at my first choice. I also got the clinical site I was going for. I don't know why it has taken them so long to get back with me. Their delay cost them a prospective student. They just didn't make a good first impression by losing things that were confirmed sent and faxed, and just their slow process. Not one person with a clinical degree has contacted me at any time. With the recent financial troubles that the university has had, including a period of probation, and TCU's great reputation, I think I have made my choice.

My friend is interviewing Tuesday. She is really brushing up on her material. I heard Dr. Reinke is a real doozy when it comes to interviewing.

As a present student at TWU, I would encourage all prospective students to follow through with their interviews. The front office staff (basically two people) handles as estimated 300 plus applicants. In addition to those applicants, those two people are handling the daily needs of the present 130 plus students in the program.

I think it TWU has solid reputation for producing quality rrna's/crna's who perform above average on the certification exam. IMHO, if I had to interview again I would want Dr. Reinke as one of the interviewers.

Good luck with your schooling next year.

Specializes in MICU.

Why (if I may ask) ?

I too, did not hear from them until January. My first choice was TCU and I was interviewed and accepted within 2 weeks of turning in my application so I am not going to interview at TWU. Both programs have excellent reputations but I was very impressed with the staff at TCU. To those accepted at TCU, if you live in the Dallas area already, please private message me, it would be great to meet some fellow students ahead of time.
