I didn't know if anyone had heard anything from St. Mary's in Athens yet? I had an HR interview in late March, where they mentioned they would be conducting a panel interview session end of April. I've emailed and called, but still haven't heard back. Didn't know if anyone else was having any luck?

Today I received an email concerning the new grad open house at St. Marys. Is anyone else going?

Ahain, can you give me any info they gave you? I've been in touch with HR this whole semester but we havent been getting anywhere!

Yeah, it's May 18th. I just got a flyer in my email, without too many specifics. I called HR and they told me this is the first time they've done this and after their round of HR interviews they put together this open house for the group to go on and speak to nursing directors that will be set up in stations.

If I were you, I'd keep calling. I know about that fine line of persistence and perseverance. Have you done the initial HR interview? Do you have the nurse recruiters information? I do, if you need it!

Thankss!! No I havent had an interview, and I'm definitely gonna call tomorrow and ask for all this info!

Thank you so much!

No problem! Let me know what you find out!

hang in there ahain0013. my hiring process took exactly one month from start to finish at st. mary's. i had to interview with hr, interveiw with two different floor managers, then also do a peer interview, and was finally offered the position a month after i filled out my application. i know the wait is tough but in the meantime still show that you are still interested in the position. during my wait i sent out thank you emails to my hr rep and the two hiring managers that interviewed me. if you landed a interview then you definetely have there attention now is time to be persistant follow up with your hr contact letting her know you are still interested.

I couldn't agree with you more youcandoit. I have been trying to do all the "right" things with the competitive market today. I guess the only thing throwing me for a loop is the open house. We don't have anything like that here, so I'm trying to be as prepared as I possibly can. Trust me, I am so grateful and happy that I'm getting this far. Feels so close, but I know patience and perseverance is the key :)
