hi massachusetts nurses! am a graduate (1981) of new england deaconess hospital school of nursing in boston, and was wondering if anyone else went there or knows someone who did...would love to start planning a reunion......
Yes, this thread is apparently still alive since the web site sent it to me. I graduated from NEDH in 75 but I originally started in the fall of 1969. I left in the summer of 70, anyone remember the student strikes at NU? I got married, traveled across country, settled in LA but returned to NEDH in the fall of 72. Now I live in SC. Still practicing after all these years. Maybe I'll get it right some day!
My name is Michael and I am a graduate of NEDHSON class of 1989. I am a psychotherapist and currently at school at URI in the MSN program for psychiatric-mental health nurse clinical specialist. I love my work and my career choices. I hope all is well. I live on the Cape in Massachusetts.

This is such an amzaing board. I heard from one classmate who, strangley enough, graduated from the same hs as I did and the same year (Of course we did know each other) but we have not communicated since 1973.....so as they said in the fantastic baseball classic movie *Field of Dreams* -" if you build it they will come"- this msg board is being built from the great nurses of today and the super nursing students from Harris Hall!!!!
Talk about instructors but there was one there named Miss D'Arcy- a sister who taught at Deac. Well she moved to Nashua NH and married a gentleman who own a Men's Clothing Store. It has since closed and I am not sure where she is now but when I saw her wedding pic in a paper many years ago. I realized how small the world was!
Harris Hall: remember how to get back in after curfew-the great spider-infested tunnel from the hospital, past the morgue and to the well-oiled elevator! Aww the old days of a housemother and no MEN in the rooms except certain hours! I explained to my sons once about the system of gentleman collers and they really laughed at how old I am! Maybe old to them but wise to me! Ok enough rambling----- great place to share memories!! CJ
