i am getting ready to apply to UCO for the fall 2010, and it doesnt seem llike anyone on this site goes there. are there any UCO students out there?

Thanks. Hopefully you all will get in without having to be on the waiting list. It's heartbreaking, but it's better than a rejection letter. Good luck.

Sorry you didn't get in this semester. At least you know they want you!

I don't know about you financial situation, but have you looked into Oklahoma City University? It's a little over 11,000 a semester, but if you had scholarships, financial aid, grants or whatever to cover it, that could be an option. I have looked into it, and they accept everyone into the program as long as they are admitted into the school, and no wait list. Also, it is 4 semesters, opposed to 5. Just a thought....Otherwise, at least you know you are in UCO when they have an opening!

I have looked into them, but even with all my financial aid, there is no way I could afford them.

Yeah, they are REALLY expensive. I'm hoping that I am accepted into UCO for the fall, otherwise I am going to go to OCU. I will have just enough scholarships and student loans to pay tuition and most of my books....it would definitely be a rough couple of years, financially.

Hopefully you get into UCO.

OMG!!!! I was accepted!!!!!!

Thank you so much! Hopefully someone wont take their spot and I'll see ya there this fall! I will keep u in my thoughts and prayers!!!

Thank you, I hope so too! I'll keep you in mine as well! BTW, I'm Andi. I got an invitation to the new student day in April, so I'll see you there! Then it's just a waiting game. Go spread your news far and wide!

Okay, great! I will be there! My name is Heather. O, just wondering...do you happen to know of any reasonably priced (around $750-850) rent homes in or near Edmond? I live in Tulsa right now and my family and I will be moving towards the end of May. I have looked on craigslist, but haven't really found anything.

I can keep an eye out. I used to live in kicking bird apartments and they are nice (I'm moving back in July). I know of Brentwood townhomes, they are two bedrooms upstairs and downstairs the owner converts an office to a bedroom upon request. I will keep an eye out though. There is a housing fair at UCO on Wednesday.

Got my letter of acceptance today.....just glad no one got rejected!!!!

YAY!!! Congratulations!!! We will soon be classmates! =)
