  1. That would be great! Maybe a fb group? I think more of our class would be on there. Are we allowed to start it? Btw, congrats on being next!! Thats great news!!
  2. Thank you! It is much appreciated! I will try to make it to UCO on Wed, thanks for that info! We're trying to find a house, we plan on looking around in a few weeks when we come for the student welcome.
  3. YAY!!! Congratulations!!! We will soon be classmates! =)
  4. Okay, great! I will be there! My name is Heather. O, just wondering...do you happen to know of any reasonably priced (around $750-850) rent homes in or near Edmond? I live in Tulsa right now and my family and I will be moving towards the end of May. I have looked on craigslist, but haven't really found anything.
  5. Thank you so much! Hopefully someone wont take their spot and I'll see ya there this fall! I will keep u in my thoughts and prayers!!!
  6. OMG!!!! I was accepted!!!!!!
  7. Yeah, they are REALLY expensive. I'm hoping that I am accepted into UCO for the fall, otherwise I am going to go to OCU. I will have just enough scholarships and student loans to pay tuition and most of my books....it would definitely be a rough couple of years, financially.
  8. Sorry you didn't get in this semester. At least you know they want you! I don't know about you financial situation, but have you looked into Oklahoma City University? It's a little over 11,000 a semester, but if you had scholarships, financial aid, grants or whatever to cover it, that could be an option. I have looked into it, and they accept everyone into the program as long as they are admitted into the school, and no wait list. Also, it is 4 semesters, opposed to 5. Just a thought....Otherwise, at least you know you are in UCO when they have an opening!
  9. Geeze!!! I know! I can hardly wait any longer!! Maybe the are being sent via certified mail? Hopefully they will be in tomorrows mail?!
  10. YAY! Finally =) GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!
  11. I was wondering if the ice storm set them back any....ahhhh...another few weeks =/ The wait is killer! Good luck to everyone!!! =)
  12. I'm sure I can do better, it was life science that I did horrible in. Now that I know what to expect I know I can do better! Thanks!!!
  13. Congrats browneyes!!! I just took my TEAS today, didn't do as well as I had hoped. Adjusted individual total score was 74.7% Mean- National: 63.3% Mean - Program: 68.9% Percentile Rank - National:81 Percentile Rank- Program: 66. I have an overall GPA of 3.66 and a 4.0 science GPA. I am applying to UCO at the end of this month. Do you think I should re-take the teas test?
  14. Thanks RXtech. Yeah, the more I hear about OU's Nursing program the more I don't care to go there. OU told me to do the ADN program and they don't worry about GPA as much b/c there is not as many applicants. Right now I live in Tulsa and TCC has the same program, so IF UCO doesn't work out I will do that. Thank you for your post!!!
  15. Thank you Ambitiouz, I am actually going to UCO on oct 15 to speak with them. I think I have a chance at getting in there. I have an 8 wk class about to end that I received an A in, so that should help GPA a little also. Thanks SO much for your help! :)
