Wow that's awesome!! I wonder what are the odds for me getting in as an alternate? I did my fingerprints because I had to do a declatory order and I scheduled my CPR class for 7/11. Man this is such a nail biting experience, but I pray that I will get a call. I tried to see what place I was on the alternate list, but was told she could not give me that information. BUMMER!!!
That is weird! When I called and I asked her what number I am on the list she told me that she could not give out that information on the phone. I wonder if Brenham do things differently? Maybe I should try and ask her how many are ahead of me and hopefully I can get an answer to that. I just REALLY want to get in. Did you apply for the LVN or RN? I've been praying that I get a call from them sooner than later just because I do have a teenager and I work. Im just a nervous wreck over this, LOL!
Ok I wanted to apply for the RN program, but decided to go for LVN first. No call yet, but still staying positive(even though it is hard, lol!) that I will get a call. I called again to see if they could tell me how many were ahead of me, but got the same answer, "we don't give that information out". I guess that was my confirmation to be patient. Did you get in or are you an alternate? What I'm doing now is getting everything done so I can be ready for that call(walking by faith :)) CPR class, immunizations, etc. ***crossing my fingers, toes, eyes. everything LOL!*** I REALLY, REALLY want this!!
Congratulations on your acceptance!!!! I was shocked when the brenham office told me that. I didn't see any harm either but I guess they have their guidelines. Do you have to do the certified profile too? I'm kind of torn whether I should go ahead and pay $60 dollars for the pack to get drug screening and have all of my medical, CPR cert even though I haven't got the call yet.

I was told provisional acceptance letters were being sent out last week for the fall program at Blinn in Bryan, did anyone receive a letter yet?
Im getting anxious. My grades were not the best (3.0 GPA), but I have a lot of other perks in my application. Including; an above average TEAS score, all pre and co requisites are completed, I skipped a grade in high school, I'm seventeen years old and a sophomore in college.
Im getting really anxious, I hope I got in because I really look forward to going to Blinn and meeting all the professors and learning more about this great profession.
