HI,
I am curious about a job offer that was offered to me from Banner Health in Phoenix? I am wondering if the wages they promise and the double overtime shifts they are saying that they will pay is true. I also wonder about the working conditions and the patient nurse ratio. Any information you can give me would really be appreciated. You may either PM me or answer here.
Also, what is the cost of living in Arizona....ie, what would a two bedroom apt. run per month in a nice area? Thanks, crni

Which Banner hospital? I work with nurses that have worked ICU at both Good Sam and Thunderbird. They have "bad street cred" among Phoenix ICU nurses. I don't know anything about the Banner hospitals on the east side of town.

The double time is true...They change incentive programs yearly...last year it was pay in lieu of benefits...
My buddy works good sam ED, and is raking in the cash
2 bedroom apt in a decent area will be around 800/month
3:1 ratio in the ED at good sam
sometimes they run a bit short...
Hoozdo,
What do you mean by "bad street cred"?? I guess I don't understand your lingo....sorry! can you elaborate? thanks

Poor management, understaffing, treating nurses badly.
