I am currently licensed in Virginia/NY and need to apply for a Florida license. I have been told the process is confusing and time consuming. I found a service that I guess does most of the work for you, of course for a fee. I dont mind doing the work, the main reason I would use them is so it doesnt potentially take 2-3 months (or longer). Has anyone used a service before? Any problem with a service?
I looked into Floridanurselicenses.com which is run by Florida Med.
Thanks everyone for any input!!

Don't pay anyone! Ive only ever been licensed in Florida, but check their website and if you have questions call them. Good luck!

I applied for licensure in Florida by endorsement (originally issued in Illinois) and actually found the process to be quite easy. The most difficult part of the process has been waiting on Illinois to do their part to verify my license to FL.

Don't use a licensing service!!! I moved here from Massachusetts and found the process to be very easy (and quick).
Good luck,

Hi shell128,I am wondering whether you ended up using that company to endorse your license to FL... Or have you applied with the FL BON yourself? And have you received your license? How long did it take? Thanks in advance! I need to do the same thing STAT.
Hello cmp715-
I did not use them. I just went on the florida board of nursing website and did the application. It actually wasnt as bad as i thought. it's slightly time consuming but its done. i received my license within a few weeks. word of advice- make a list of things to do. they actually tell you what order to do it. get license verification, fingerprints and the medication test going first. calling the BON is easy- they are very helpful. let me know if you have any other questions- good luck!!
Thank you so much for replying :) I was leaning toward just applying myself and that's what I will do. I am relocating from Southern CA to Jacksonville area in the next few weeks and I am scrambling to get everything done ASAP.
I will definitely write back if I have any questions. :) thanks again.
