Anyone else not worried?

I'm taking my NCLEX on the 7th and I feel like I should be more worried. I did pretty well in school, passed the HESI with a 1038 or something like that but I don't think that's the reason. I don't know if I'm just burt out or what. I'm doing NCLEX questions but I'm not going crazy over any of it. Anybody else experience this?

I'm only a prenursing student - though I did get called for an interview yesterday! - but I had the same experience when I took the GRE. I knew that the advanced algebra wasn't going to be my strong point, so I didn't worry about it too much. I gave the math a cursory review. I vamped up on my vocabulary, practiced the analytical problems (there was no writing section when I took it), and eventually figured "oh well - if I don't know it now I'm not gonna, so why get worked up?" I knew that my score would affect my ability to go to any graduate level program for five years, so I did want to do the best I possibly could - but I knew getting too worked up would only mess me up in the long run.

I ended up doing very well, actually! So I don't think it's being self-assured, it's probably that you've just figured out if you DON'T know it by now, you're not going to - so why get nervous now? I would keep practicing, because that's certainly not going to hurt you - but I'll bet you'll be just fine.

Good luck and keep us posted! My interview is on the 7th so let's both send each other good vibes that day!

I took my NCLEX yesterday and was really calm and laid back. The test administrator even made comment on how calm I was and that was good. Don't be worried.

You'll do fine!

mikeyBSN- i feel that way too. i am excited for, but not altogether worried about, the nclex. i also take me test on the 7th, and while i know anybody could get the whole 265 i am planning it as i go in, do a great job, comp shuts of at 75 (here's hoping lol). i took a hesi review course and scored in the mid 1100's on both the interim and exit, and took a kaplan course just the past two weekends with good passing results on their diagnostic and readiness test. i can't bring myself to study hard b/c i feel like i have a good handle on things and my friends think i am crazy- theyr studying 3-4 hrs till day before test day. at this point, i think i either know it or i don't. so i'm not going to worry too much about it : )
