Hi everyone! After working incredibly hard to finish my prerequisites, I got accepted into my community college's RN program :)! The problem is that the programs where I live are so impacted, that I am an alternate to start Fall 2015 (if I don't get in then, I start Spring 2016). I'm glad, of course, that I am accepted, but it is really frustrating to work so hard to finish the prerequisites only to have to wait 18 (or more) months. I am an older student (37 years old, married with four kids), so I don't have time to wait around. Unfortunately, I don't have a choice. Anyone else in this situation? Thanks :)
He likes it a lot. He just stays out of all the drama. Hardest part is just dedicating a ton of time to studying. That's cool about your hubby. I think you will for sure get in.. The long wait will definitely help your hubby's and my chances.. In my husband's class they let in up to alternate #9 and they had 3 repeats from the previous semester. He got in 10 months after he applied. That's cool your husband is a surgical tech. Where does he work? I'm an ER tech I work in San Bernardino. It's pretty neat you started this thread, it's nice to know someone that is waiting forever like myself :)

Oh yes, I took ------------ and ---------------. That's awesome that your husband is currently in the program. How does he like it? My husband is hoping to get into the program the same semester as me, he's 14th on the alternate list for Fall, so we'll see! He's currently a surgical tech.
