Hey All,
The LPN program I am in is sooo intense; I am sure they all are! We rec'd our calendars last week and we have at least 1 quiz each day and at least 1 Chapter each day. Sometimes 2-3 subjects per day as well.
Luckily, I have 3 great teachers who have some awesome clinical, in the field experience and a sense of humor to get us all through the day.
As of now I am ahead of the game but my biggest fear is falling behind and then I'm done.....Please tell me I am NOT the only paranoid one ?!
Sincerely,
ANXIOUS NSG STUDENT

How far are you into the program?
It is tough, but manageable. My first month we had gone through about 36 chapters. If you are ahead of the game, keep it that way. Do not fall behind, time management is key.
1 week!
I sound pathetic, I know. It really is a lot. Nothing unmanageable, just the fear of falling behind is weighing on me dearly.

The pressure is intense, our instructors keep telling us it is supposed to be like that. I'm going into my second semester on Monday. To start on Monday we have 3 classes that day, 2 classes the next day and I have done days of reading and homework just to be ready. I just keep thinking if I can make it until February then we're into the 3rd semester and it will be easier. Next September is 4th semester and I'm looking forward to that one much more.
