Has anyone been given a high pass probability on Mosby's CAT test on-line & failed N-CLEX? I just took it for the first time yesterday & after 75 questions it told me I had a 99% probability of passing the real thing.
Today I did it a couple more times & 1st time it shut off at 79 questions with the same result (boy I now know that feeling if the test doesn't stop at 75!) but the 2nd time it went to 171 before saying it had run out of questions (even though it's supposed to be able to go the 265 distance) and the last question's difficulty level was N/A! Previous to that when it stopped for "a scheduled break" my last correct question was at a really high difficulty level. It still listed my passing probability at 99% & when I reviewed the test there were not very many wrong answers.
So did I beat the test?? :rotfl: Has this happened to anyone else? Has anyone failed N-CLEX after getting a high probability on Mosby??

Good question, I will really like to know the answer too.

I think the Mosby Assess Test is usually pretty accurate. Can't think of anyone I've seen on here who failed the NCLEX after getting a >90% probability of passing from Mosby.
Well thank goodness it was right about me!! I passed & it said I would!
Congratulation, go ahead and be the best nurse you can be.
