About a week ago there was an advertisment on radio listing recent awards local institutions had recieved. It said the Pitt had recently been called one of the best nursing schools in USA. It also went on to say that it's master level program was THE best in USA. I have sorta been looking around for written verification of above info but have not been able to find it. PS We get Pitt interns sometimes in the summer, great future nurses.

I've been told that the College of St. Catherine's in Minneapolis, MN is one of the top nursing schools in the nation because of their holistic approach to nursing, and clinical assignments. Is this true? Supposedly they are highly regarded by hospitals in the Midwest. My sister wants to go there. Any info about their program?

It's true. I am going to be freshman next year at Pitt's Nursing school. They are ranked the number 6 nursing school in the country, due to the outstanding medical facilities surrounding the campus. The Graduate school was ranked even higher, but I'm not sure what the exact ranking was. I am doing all of my orientation things at Pitt, and they mentioned that their nursing program is the hardest undergraduate program they have. So, I'm a bit nervous, to say the least!
