Hello, I was wondering how long you had to wait and what requirements you had to meet as far as classes. My Husband wants to get his RN so we can travel together. I went to SCCC a long time ago and liked the campus, but when I was there...they had 1-2 year waiting list.

CONGRATS!

Honestly it was easy to get in at least for me. I have heard alot of people complaining that there are like several hundred applicants and only 80 spots in the SCCC RN program. I did all my pre req's (math, english I & II, A & P I & II, Pol Science, etc) then I went and applied at the appointed time and then took my dosage and got the required 90 or above and got in. As long as you stay on top of your dates of when you have to do what and have good grades you shouldnt have any problems getting in. They no longer have a waiting list from what I hear its just going to be first to finish the requirements first to get in. Good Luck!! Leslie

Thanks a bunch, My husband will be very happy to hear that! Study your fluid and e-lytes ahead of time, it will only help you in the long run...Especially, Na+ (sodium), K+( Potassium), and your Ca+ (Calcium). Learning your ABG's is a good idea too! Good luck!

I start RN classes in August. I found out I was accepted last July. Are you wondering if you were accepted for the 2007 classes?

Scc does have a waiting list for the RN program. I heard one of the girls in Micro say she was on it and waiting for someone to flunk out. Good luck to all.
