Anyone else applying to P.I.T. for the January LPN program?

Is anyone else applied for this program? I just want to meet other people that may be in the class with me before it starts.

Heey I was there last night too! Talking to the dreaded financial aid peeps. Big surprise I gotta take a bunch of loans. Im cool with my schedule though.

They gave me the B schedule. My counselor said there were just two choices A and B.

did they say what the difference was with A and B? Are they different times?

He just told me its a slight difference in time. My classes are from 8 to 2:40 most days. Friday is 6:45 to 3 i believe because of clinicals.

Oh no Nellz then we have different schedules I think cause my clinicals are on Tuesdays. Well that stinks! My schedule is wrong because they signed me up for Anatomy and Physiology, and I'm already taking that now at community college. They said they had to put it down cause I'm not done though. They said once I am done I can bring my transcripts up and they will take me out of the class. I had to take majoritively loans too, but hey at least we will be able to get out and work a bit before repayment starts.

Yea our clinicals may be on different days, but maybe we ll have some classes together :-). Either way I plan on starting study group with you guys, we WILL all make it through this program! Lol

And yea your right, once we start working those loans will be paid off in no time.

So, are you girls ready? It's just a few weeks until we start. Did everyone get their invite to orientation? My letter said that orientation is Jan. 5th at 8:30. Is everyone else's the same?

Yup, got mine too. Same date and time. Im mostly stressed..because of my high monthly tuition payments that I ll have to pay on a soon to be part time salary. Met with FA last week and met a girl whos in the same boat as me; Excited bout getting in but her monthly payments are astronomical. We were both there to see what the school could do for us. And it wasnt much. :-/ So yea, im excited!..but stressed. Lol Tryna stay positive and hopeful.

Has anyone been able to see what books we are supposed to get? Or is it all included in the tution cost?
