anyone here attending Nursing Orientation at columbus state next friday?

Hi! I was just wondering if there was anyone here attending the Nursing Orientation next friday (12th) for Spring quarter?? I am. I am sooo excited! Finally, after all this work the beginning of the end!!!! I thought this day would NEVER come!!!! :monkeydance: :balloons:

Is this orientation for the RN or PN program? I am starting the PN program in the Spring!!! However, I have not heard of any orientation??

its for thr rn program-everyone that was accepted recieved notice with all the other paperwork.

Just graduated w/ the last fall class! Took 5 years from pre-reqs to wait list to graduate! Worth it...hang in there and you'll be there before you know it. The "odd" quarters are more challenging, esp. first. Study hard!

How long is the waiting list at Cols State for the RN program? Im wanting to go to school FT in the fall to finish my degree, was hoping to go to Cols state but heard there was a waiting list.

hi-there isn't a waiting list at columbus state. The catch is that the application period is in January, so you have to have all your stuff done and turned in to apply to the program. You usually get a reply in June. There is also an application period in Jule-but last year's was canceled, so I don't know if there will be one this summer. When you apply, you get in for fall or spring, or not at all-and then you have to re-apply. But they don't put you on a list. Good luck!!
