I just finished my first semester in SDC's program. It has changed, so the info that is on their website (http://www.sdcnursing.com) isn't reflective of the changes that have been made. Instead of being able to finish the LPN in three trimesters, it is now completed in four(I am in the last cohort that will be able to sit for the NCLEX-PN after three trimesters). The program has a lot of issues, but I think they are making an effort to fix it.. I have a lot more info, but really it depends on which campus you are considering attending.
I attend the Annapolis campus, but all the clinical sites are in Baltimore City or Baltimore County..also since my campus does not have a clinical coordinator, I go to the Baltimore campus once a week for skills lab. So I'm familiar with the campus. Since that campus is the "main" campus, I feel as though they get the most attention,etc..Also regarding the RN program..technically the nursing program is now known as a RN program, but after the first year of clinical courses, you have the option to sit for the NCLEX-PN examination. They encourage us all to do so. Their RN program is still very new..I believe approximately 6 people have finished it so far, and two have already sat for the NCLEX-RN & passed.

Hello. Does anyone go to Sojourner Douglass College for the PN program?
If so, can you tell me how it is please. (Details)
Thanks!
