Hi all,
i wanted to know if anyone had applied at CCSf nursing program for Fall 2018? If so, does anyone have an idea when they'll start sending out letters?
Thanks!

Hi guys, I applied to the fall semester as well. I got the letter to submit my TEAS, which I did. I then saw on the website that we had to notify the nursing department if we wanted to accept our conditional acceptance by mail. It didn't state that we had to do that in our TEAS letter. Did I make a huge mistake by not sending in an acceptance? Is the letter supposed to be sent in AFTER our TEAS are evaluated?

I don't think they sent out any letters yet regarding conditional acceptance. They do that after they review the TEAS test. If you're unsure I would call them and ask. Or go in person.
Does anyone know anything about the Ccsf bridge program with sf state?

Hi NissanX!
I believe the acceptance is after the TEAS are evaluated.
If I am correct, in the TEAS letter it said to submit TEAS, then they will re-rank the 170 candidates and then another letter will be sent out. I assume if you are top 50 you will get the acceptance letter, which you respond to by mail. And if you are between 51-170 you play the waiting game, but I think a letter will also be sent to notify you of your position on the waitlist.
Good luck!

Has anyone taken micro with professor Swider at Capital?
Thanks guys. I was kinda freaking out when I saw that on the website.
I don't know about the SFSU bridge but I'm looking into other programs. My only fear is them not accepting the ADN from CCSF as it is not ACEN accredited. Gonna start calling around tomorrow.
Good news! At the very least, Grand Canyon will accept CCSF for its online RN-BSN program.
Check your mail box guys! I got a letter today :)
NissanX- Just curious, what do you mean not ACEN accredited? How did you check that?
Hi hollandlops!
Did you get in? I see a happy face.. hope that means you were accepted! Where do you live?
I have yet to receive anything.. I have been so anxious!
What were the details if you don't mind sharing. When is the reply by date? When is orientation?
I really wish I get the acceptance letter. If i don't see anything tomorrow I'm wondering if it's because I'm waiting for a wait listed letter. It would make sense for them to send a letter to the 50 top applicants to await their response.
To anyone just browsing this post... good luck!
I'm in!
ACEN accredited schools have certain standards in their education. A few potential employers find it important but it is more important for continuing your education. Some schools will not honor credits or degrees from non-ACEN schools. You can look up all schools that are accredited on the ACEN website. There aren't any associate RN programs in the Bay Area that are accredited though.
