Anyone applying for Calhoun Community College's Nursing program for Fall 2013?

I'm going insane waiting on a response to my application. Any current applicants or previous Calhoun nursing students reading this, how many points did you have? What was your GPA? I'm so nervous that my GPA is too low (it's a 2.75; I forgot to withdraw out of a class), so I'm trying to see what anyone else has so I don't go bonkers while waiting for a response. I know it's really difficult to get accepted the first time.

I haven't finished everything yet. I am taking Micro and Speech this summer, and then I will be done with everything for Calhoun's program. If I don't get in I will be taking transfer courses all fall.

is your score pretty good, I think I am right on the border line, I made a C in anatomy 1, but made A'S in anatomy 2 and micro. My teas wasnt to good either.. so my teas and anatomy 1 is what is holding me back.. I will just reapply next time if it doesnt work out.

I made A's in both Anatomy classes and my TEAS was a 79.3. I have 142.3 points, and my GPA is a 4.0, so I am hoping that will be good enough to get in. I will do the same if I don't get in for the fall. I would say I am in the middle area as well.

I'm glad I am not the only one obsessing about this! Hubby is getting annoyed by all the talk and anxiety haha!

Thank you. This past week I have got real nervous, I just think its going to be in the mail real soon, because no other group has waited a full 6 weeks, but I also heard from sombody that is in the program now, that a bunch of people applied for this fall, which isnt good news..

I will too! I have been driving myself crazy waiting for this packet. I heard that this falls applicant pool was really big....I really wish my A&P grades were a bit better. I made B's in both of them and by some miracle, an A in Micro. Good luck to everyone!

Ugh that is scary! Really hoping to squeeze in! If not it will be a long fall semester or transfer courses.
