U.S.A. Massachusetts

I will be applying to Bunker Hill for this coming fall. Anyone else? I'm excited as I hear this fall is when the new allied health addition will be completed. I also heard that BHCC will be opening up an online nursing program (with in-person labs and clinical) for Jan. 2010.

I GOT INTO THE DAY PROGRAM :clpty::hpygrp: Thank you GODDDDD

I got my letter today

WOW!!! congratulations!!! although we don't know each other personally, i'm very proud of you! (i can empathize with the amount of work you put into your pre-nursing classes!!!)

is it too personal to ask how you did on your TEAS? i think i need some reassurance that i have a chance of getting in. if you're not comfortable sharing that, i apologize for asking =[

I have a 4.0 but my TEAS was horrible I had a Reading 83%, Science 63%, Math 57% (computer went dead just before submitting my last page of Math).

I didnt think I was gonna get in. I was in tears after the TEAS thinking that I invested 2 years while working full time and here I messed it up by doing badly on this test.

But with the Lords help, I made it!!!

Oh what a great story (not the difficult TEAS test, but the fact that you succeeded despite that obstacle!) !!!

Congratulations once again and you've given me a lot of faith that my application will go through successfully too.

Take care and BEST OF LUCK to you! Maybe I'll see you around on campus =)

I was accepted into the evening program! :) Congrats purposebydesign!

Wow your teas scores were great.

Congrats on your acceptance.:yeah::yeah: You worked hard for it and deserve your seat.

An Advisor told my friend that unless she had a TEAS score in the 90%'s then she wouldn'nt get into the program and her teas were somewhere in the high 80% and her GPA is 3.5 , I couldnt believe what I heard because I knew of people in my A&PII class that was accepted into the program last semester who had TEAS results in the 70%'s. Sometimes the advisors have no clue. She was terrified but I told her that I think that she will definately get accepted with her score .

Thanks!!! I'm very excited!

Advisors shouldn't tell people stuff like that - it's too discouraging if they don't do that well and then they just convince themselves they won't get in.

I honestly wasn't expecting to hear for another couple of weeks so today has come as a shock to me...I didn't know if I would get in because I hear BHCC is just so competitive.

It's just so nice that all of this planning, waiting, studying, etc. has paid off so congrats to you too - i'm sure you have earned your place as well!!!

Looking forward to the orientation on May 20th!

I applied to Massasoit Community College aswell and that school is my first choice , their letters should be coming in this week. This will be my first degree ever, lol and BHCC is my first college so Im a little sad:cry: if I have to leave but Massasoit has an excellent Nursing program aswell. They only admit nursing students in the Fall.

If I dont get into my first choice then I'll definately stick with BHCC. I know that for the past two years I've attended evening classes so starting in the day either schools will be a shock to my system:zzzzz: but I'm very excited and I cant wait to start nursing school :nurse:

congrats to all of you who received your letters yesterday!!! i'm itching to find out whether i got in!!! you all must be so proud!
