Hi All!

Is anyone applying for the ASU post bacc program 2018? Have you completed all your pre reqs? I am currently working on completing all my pre reqs and so far so good. Any advice?

Haha I'm definitely a night owl, through and through. Plus I work until 11:00 PM and don't get home until around midnight. So getting up for an 8:30 AM is going to be enough of a struggle. lol Nice! I adored Micro. Hopefully you like it too! Also, are you taking the TEAS this summer? And do you have any prereqs you have to take in the fall? I have to take Patho in the fall and the TEAS at the end of August. Since it's heavily focused in A&P I want to finish out this class first and then have a month-ish to study.

Hey! I wasn't able to stick around class to look for you. Funny story, I sat next to a blonde lady, who i consider tall and im like... hey! did i chat with you on allnurses... she gave me this odd look.. haha...Anyway, I sit on the second row from the back. Im the only Nigerian girl in the class.

So sorry for the super late response but school has got me swamped. It depends on the person how much time you spend a week. I probably spend between 60-70 personally. Some people can spend less and others spend every waking hour. One big recommendation I can make is to find a way to handle your stress now. For me its working out. I have started running because holy stress so if you figure out how to handle stress now it will be a huge help in the program. Be prepared for days that feel endless and where you will feel like you are drowning in assignments but you will also have days where you have gotten everything done and you have 4 afternoons in a row with no homework. It truly is a roller coaster ride but oh so worth it.

aspiringrn - I can't believe I'm just seeing this. I don't get any notifications about posts on here! I took Micro in person at PVCC with Dr. Thomas. I loved it! Hope your spring semester went well. I'm so happy to almost be done with all my prereqs but nervous about the upcoming applications!
