Hi All!

Is anyone applying for the ASU post bacc program 2018? Have you completed all your pre reqs? I am currently working on completing all my pre reqs and so far so good. Any advice?

I'd love to hear from you.

Hi @aspiringrn_ca! I'm in the process of completing my pre-req's as well. Currently taking Anatomy I, Micro and Human Dev. Planning on taking the TEAS late spring/early summer. I just read through a thread that the 2016 class created to help the 2017 class. It was really interesting to browse through and get an idea of what to expect! Here's the link: https://allnurses.com/arizona-nursing/asu-post-baccalaureate-1064710.html

Me me me! :) I'm currently taking A&P I, Micro, and Chem this semester and will be taking A&P II and Intro to Nursing & Healthcare Systems over the summer, as well as the TEAS. Then I'll have a easy fall semester with just Patho. I'm so nervous about applying and that I won't get in! :(

Hey Y'all! I am a current postbacc student and will be glad to answer any questions you have. One big recommendation I can make already based on your posts is to take the TEAS at the end of the summer. I ended up pushing mine back that I scheduled earlier. You only have one shot at it so take your time.

@rmmccarthy When I went in to talk to the advisors about this program they said it's 60-80 hours of work per week. Can you verify if this is true?

hey! Thanks for your response. We seem to be on similar track! I'm taking a&p II this summer at CGCC.... and teas in June. Where are you taking A&p II? How did Micro go? and yes I am nervous too!

Hi @alexaaline, Thanks for your response. I have apII, micro and patho left to go. and teas in june. Did you take micro online or in person? any recommendations?

@K8hurley...I really don't think I spend 60-80 hours a week. I feel this is a wee bit exaggerated, and it freaked me out last year just thinking I'd never see my family! @Rmmccarthy..what do you think?

I agree with taking the TEAS at the end of summer. I made sure I had as many pre-reqs under my belt and enough study time to do well on the test.

@crossfitandnursing how did Micro go? Did you take it through maricopa colleges?

Really well! I LOVED Micro and was actually super sad when it was over. haha Yes, I took it through CGCC. I'll be finishing my Intro to Nursing and Healthcare Systems course this weekend and start A&P II next week!

Wait, hold the phone... you're taking A&P II at CGCC?? We're totally in the same class! haha :D

Omg we just might be in the same class!!!! At 8.30am? Omgggggg!!! We have to meet!
