Anyone applied to WCU for FNP Fall 2017?

How about WCU alumni that could comment on how long it took to hear from the school as to whether you would be getting an interview? Or any comments about the program?

Yes, I applied just before the deadline but have not been invited to interview as of yet. I did get an email however stating that if I was going to get an invitation, it would arrive by March 14th. Next week is spring break for WCU so I am unsure if anything will come then. Will keep you posted!

I applied for fall 2017 FNP. Hoping to hear March 14! I got an email Friday afternoon saying they didn't have my BSN transcript and to send it asap...not sure how that happened...but could mean I could get an interview since they needed it so last minute?! Could be over thinking the whole situation.

I graduated in 2004. Hoping that helps. I also applied at Walden only because Dr Vincent Hall is there now and I remember how great he was when I was at WCU and he taught there. Got acceptance notification from Walden within a day of submitting my complete application.

I submitted my application to WCU very early hoping for an early response but apparently they wait to review all applications together.

Yeah I applied back in November. Wow! Will you go to Walden? Or is WCU your first choice?

I applied to UNCC since they didn't require GRE...waitlisted there. I'm okay with that! Better than getting denied. You have to let me know when you hear back from Western!!

I received a similiar email on Friday about my statistics course. We are supposed to know by tomorrow, I have not applied anywhere else. I will keep everyone posted on whether or not I get an invite. I wish I knew how many applicants they get versus how many they accept but I have no idea!

I talked to a person there and they said they get around 100 applicants, interview 50 and accept 25. Will let everyone know if I hear tomorrow!!
