Anyone applied to Union University -Germantown Accelerated BSN for Fall 2016?

Published

Hi,

I recently applied to attend UU- Germantown for Fall 2016. By reading older threads, I understand the acceptance process varies. Has anyone recently been accepted into the program within the past year?

Can you provide feedback on the program schedule including clinicals?

Yes, I'm glad that I followed the back up recommendation. Since this is a second degree, I need A&P I and II. I'm still awaiting for the Registrar to advise if they will accept my Psychology credits from my previous undergrad classes. So yes, I would accept the text. Please let me know how much you want to sale the text for.

No, I've never been to Cookville, TN or Cummings Falls. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with any other hiking spots but Google will be your best friend on finding additional locations.

Yes, you do the same in keeping us posted and the best of good luck to you as well.

No problem, just cover the cost of shipping at the text is yours. For Anatomy and Physiology I/II I have full versions of the textbooks and body atlas saved on my ipad. I could upload those pdf documents onto my dropbox if you have a tablet or ipad? If you feel comfortable enough send me your e-mail address and I'll e-mail you with the password to my dropbox.

How far are you from the Union University Germantown campus? If you had time this month could you share with me your general impression of the facility and also find out how much of the Accelerated BSN is taught online? I think there are 2 classes taught online, I just prefer receiving my instruction from a lecturer/professor.

Great! Thank you! I will definitely take you up on the offer for textbooks. I prefer to have the actual textbooks for A&P.

I'm not far from the Germantown location...about 20-25 minutes depending on traffic. This is an off-site campus so it's not similar to the Jackson location. I'm going to the open house next month and will provide details on how much is taught online. Looking at the available courses for Spring, I believe it's 2 or 3 classes taught online.

I agree receiving instruction fro. A lecturer/professor is vital!

I will provide you with info after the BSN open house next month.

the NCLEX pass rate for the last few years has been 100%, that is a huge reason why I am choosing the school. But even when I earned my first bachelors I avoided classes taught on-line, so this will be a tough decision. Thanks ahead of time for the future intel.

Yes, the NCLEX pad rate speaks alone! For my first Bachelor, mine was all online but in the Nursing field I prefer in class. Anytime! Where do you currently live? The only concern I have is taking out private loans! I'm checking all options!
