Good luck to you as well! Do you know of anyone that was accepted in previous years and what their credentials were while applying? I've searched many of the threads and all I can find is people saying they didn't get accepted because they took their science courses in their ADN program. I'm just curious to know what the school is looking for

I too applied to St marys and actually I have done the same with searcing for threads. I found many people getting denied and one or two who were already in the program willing to get accepted. All I can say is each year is different and dont give up. Apply to many schools. As for myself, I recently got the greenlight to interview at another college, actually closer to me with stricter standards. I dont even think I am that competitive with numbers, but they look at the whole not just numbers on a paper. I volunteer, teach classes at my hospital and work on more than just having a great GPA.

Good luck, I heard no news soon is good news. They get rid of the ones they dont want then contact the ones who will get in after.

Waiting to hear as well. Looking at past posts some people's online application showed "denied" on May 6th so have a week or so before that. Accepted/wait list didn't hear until early June. Good luck to everyone!

Yea I saw that as well. So once May passes, no news is good news and spoke with them directly and they said the ones that aren't accepted hear first. So good luck guys. Good or bad I will give an update.

I actually made and inquiry with St Mary's since the deadline and they said that because of the new system they used this year, they are actually not sure about the timeline and that it may be different. They said everyone would know by July 1st, either way. I'm hoping this was just an arbitrary date and worst case scenario, because I really don't want to have to wait that extra month!

My friend is in the program now and she received a call in June. Did anyone know of applicant who received a rejection letter in April or so far?? Much luck to everyone. God bless.

Hey Amazing, no idea who ever received one so early, but guess we will wait and see. As I was told by someone, schools look at the whole and if they only did stats then I wouldn't want to go there. I never see my grades as who I am as a person. I know straight A individuals who would freak out when presented with a case, not saying I don't know my stuff, just saying confidence goes a long way. Did you apply as well?
