Has anyone applied to Georgia Coastal Community College too? I printed the applications to both the associates and BSN program. If I don't get in at AASU, I am going to retake the Teas V and apply.

I applied at Coastal College of Georgia, but got waitlisted, and also Clayton State and got an interview there.

Lolita34 - I spoke with one of the ladies in the office on the last day to turn in applications and at that time there was about 130 turned in. I am bummed to hear they won't go out until later in the month, this wait is killing me!!

Hey, yeah I called the faculty member that I turned my application into and she told me that letters would go out at the end of the month but letters are for people who did not get in or are on the wait-list. Emails go out to those who are accepted and the Dept Head told my friend that they would go out this week. I'm thinking maybe this week or next week. I'm an Armstrong graduate with a BHS and from what I know, the point system does work as: A=1 B=0.5 C=0.25 (in core A,D,F), then take that number and add your overall GPA, then if you are an Armstrong student you add 1 point, and if you have a Bachelor's degree then you also add another point. I was told this by the Department Head last month when I met with them. I really believe we will find out before the end of this month because I applied last year, before retaking my TEAS and my Anatomy courses to bring them up to A's, and those who got in got emails and those of us who did not got letters a few weeks later. I do know that if you retake a course it does not count against you unless you failed it the first time. I made a 79.3, Advanced, on my TEAS so I feel like I have done everything that I can do. I'll be exhausted if I don't get in!!!! ;) Fingers crossed for all of us. Oh and 100+ is not bad for applicants. Last Fall there were 380 applicants!!! And only 80 get in. Also, my friend's advisor told her that last Spring the highest NGPA was only a 10. So, that gives me hope. Now last Fall the highest was a 16!!! That is incredible. K, good luck ladies!!!!! :)

Hey everyone, just thought I'd let yall know that my friend got in touch with the nursing department today and she said they wouldn't be getting the emails out this week.. good news since none of us have received an email and bad news because I think we are all so anxious. :) I do remember that someone did get an acceptance email before I got my letter last year so I'm hoping that the acceptance emails are out next week since the letters will be out by the end of the month. Anyways, just wanted to pass the word on. I'm going to practice some patience over the next week and just pray that an email pops up. :)

I emailed one of the advisors and she said that letters should be received within the next few days. I really hope it's this week!!
