What's the culture like? I had a clinical rotation there and didn't like the unit, but I know I can't judge the rest of the place based on that. I will be interviewing there, anyboy got any input?
Thanks,
Kim

Hi Kim, I worked at Piedmont from 2000-2001 in PreAdmission Testing. It's hard to get a handle on the culture when you're not on the floor but from what I could see, the nursing culture was not much different from other hospitals. That is to say that they weren't that strong nor that weak. They see a lot of old Atlanta clientele and a lot of politicians and sports stars so there is this air of "we must have perfection". At that time, there was not a lot of ethnic diversity, not compared to the other hospitals in the Atlanta area so I counted this as a negative. Salaries were standard, not much else spectacular about the place.
